ABOUT

Rev. Dr. Lex Akers serves as the National Superintendent of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Australia and President of the South Pacific Region.

Over the years, he has pastored several congregations, served as District Superintendent in two districts, and together with Rev Troy Beer, planted a new church in Brisbane.

In addition to his pastoral leadership, Lex spent seven years teaching at Excelsia University College in Sydney, lecturing in biblical studies, leadership, management, pedagogy and religious education.

He is passionate about disciple-making and helping people understand and live out the teachings of the Bible in practical ways.
